 Black Babydolls

Although born black, their wool will usually begin to fade to chocolate or to lighter shades of brown.  After shearing some are black again but many often fade to gray with age, some faster than others. 

Many spinners are fond of dark colored fleeces while others will dye or spin the medium gray or oatmeal gray colors.

Traditional Babydolls

Because you can dye the white fleeces any color, spinners that like to dye favor these fleeces over the colored ones.
